He was first published in a significant New England magazine at age 13 (he lied about his age and credentials as he desired to be taken seriously in the eyes of the learned) for a poem entitled, “The Ocean Walk”. At age 17 he purchased his first guitar because he heard sounds emanating from much of the verse that he was writing and wanted to explore this further. Within the two years that followed he was playing in small venues and insisted on only playing his own songs; he has never played a cover tune in public forum in his life. He created a modest following here, while in college, and had been featured in two television programs that highlighted his works of that time; as well as receiving gratuitous airplay from a local radio station for two satirical “novelty” songs he had written about local topic. He subsidized a portion of his college expense by custom writing songs for weddings (and performing them), as well as composing dozens of songs for other local artists and bands. For this latter task he accepted no money and was only compensated by the recognition. He graduated from college with degrees in Sociology and English Composition. Since that time he has been modestly reclusive, accumulating volumes of songs, poems, and stories. He, on occasion, would venture into an open-mic opportunity or a coffee-house production with the sole intent of receiving some manner of feedback for his work. On two such events, he was singled-out and asked to perform a small venue concert featuring only him. He agreed, with the stipulation that the attendance be limited to 200 persons, or less. At each event, he played for a solid 3 ½ hours, never taking a break. Rather than planning songs to play, he simply made a list of the titles of all his songs, distributed copies to all, and had the audience make requests--unknowing as to the emotional direction that the requests would take him or them. The concerts were wildly heralded. He returned to seclusion again until recently, when he explored the audience of the internet; and hoped once again to find acceptance and appreciation for his work.</p><p style="margin-bottom: 0cm;
